Before starting High Life Ranch, David competed in professional MMA for over a decade, retiring in 2017.  With MMA came travel.  They were able to experience and compete in places all over the U.S., Canada, and even Russia and Bahrain. 

 

Jenny graduated with her nursing degree in 2012 and continued her education until becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 2020.  She specializes in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.  For years now, she has been helping people feel better and live healthier and happier lives.     

 

Through our pursuit of healthy living we learned about grass fed beef and have experienced the health benefits that come from eating it. 

 

Our family, David, Jenny, Zayah and Lennix, first moved to Huntsville, UT, in 2019 from the suburbs of East Layton.  We wanted more room, fresher air, and had goals of becoming self-reliant.  As a family, we have learned to work with animals, produce our own food, and the importance of hard work and consistency over time.  We had no prior experience with farming or raising livestock.  We simply wanted to raise our own protein and know exactly what is put into each animal and how it was treated. 

 

Working with Highlands and eating delicious beef has sparked a passion in our family that is extremely motivating.  It didn’t take long for us to decide we could do the same thing we were already doing for ourselves, but on a larger scale, in order to provide our community with a better and more delicious option when purchasing beef.

 

We started taking action, talking to people, and made valuable connections along the way.  Support from our friends, family, partners and other like minded people has allowed us to expand our beef and breeding operation to what it is today.  We are on a mission to raise some of the best beef in the world right here in Huntsville, and raise enough that we can make it available to our friends, family and community.

 

You don’t have to go out and become a rancher and start raising cattle because you care about eating healthy, delicious, and ethically raised meat.  We did that crazy part.  Now you can simply support those values by supporting us and our mission.
